Reports claim the full-back could leave the Welsh capital in search of first team football
Cardiff City defender Greg Cunningham is ready to quit the club, according to reports.
Football Insider claims several Championship clubs are targeting the left-back ahead of the close of the summer transfer window, and that the 28-year-old is growing increasingly concerned about his difficulties in nailing down a regular place in Neil Warnock's starting line-up.
Joe Bennett and Lee Peltier look set to remain as Warnock's preferred first choice full-back pairing, and the Yorkshireman is reportedly open to the possibility of allowing Cunningham to leave in search of first team football.
Speaking after his side's pre-season win over Nice , the City boss confirmed that several of his players were attracting attention from other clubs this summer.
"There will be outgoings," he confirmed. "I've got one or two things in the pipeline at the moment but I don't want to do anything in that respect until I see what we bring in.
"I think I've had people ask me about six or seven lads at the moment."
The Irishman joined from Preston North End last summer, but made just eight appearances in all competitions last term, having previously played 290 games in his career, including spells at Manchester City, Nottingham Forest, Bristol City, Preston.
Cunningham currently has two years remaining on his current deal in the Welsh capital.
