Surely it would be the opposite? PL crowds would be larger.

I see your point.
I’m just thinking PL fixture has more ‘clout’ than Championship. I’ve no idea really though tbh - I’ve had 4 full days of nights looking after grandchildren, 2 boys aged 3 & 5 so mind not straight atm

Hahaha. I feel your pain! Even if they gave an explanation it wouldn't make sense. I'm sure they make it up as they go along. Maybe the police boss is a Leeds fan and he wants to watch the rugby too?!

Its been switched presumably because city Leeds is a high risk game for crowd trouble! Coupled with God knows how many drunk rugby fans in city centre it doesn't take genius why its switched.

No I get that. But there were games last year where the rugby 75k fans and Cardiff 32k fans. Kicked off at literally exactly the same time. That can't be good for policing no matter how high risk. Leicester home was the one that springs to mind.

Yeah. They obv think a few handful of Leeds knobs are going to be worse than all the pissed up rugby fans! Shows their views on football really.
