He should have gone out on loan to a championship side 2 years ago

What a strange move for someone who was so highly rated even if it is only a loan move. Replacement for Gavin Whyte I assume

I just think the kid is talented and with the right manager and team he could do really well.
I would certainly put him ahead of Hoilett at the moment who has had his day. Woodburn would be a good squad player at this level

Massively surprised by this. I thought he'd end up going to Rangers, Hull City, or a midtable championship club on loan this season. Tbh I haven't heard the best reports about him over the past 12 months but surely he's better than league 1 and not even a top team in league 1 but an average one. Must be a reason why a championship club haven't gone in for him. I guess the plus is that he'll at least be playing football every week and if he smashes it in league 1 he'll be playing for a Championship team next season.
