Striker Omar Bogle for the time being is set to stay at Cardiff City.

With City short of strikers Bogle will be given a chance.

He’s keen to impress apparently and he certainly looked up for it v Nice.
Let’s get behind him like anyone else who puts on the blue shirt. :bluescarf:

I work with a couple of Pompy season ticket holders and they loved him there last season, he had a short spell where he did well, then they were using him as a impact sub, he picked up an injury towards the end of the season and they were gutted he wasn’t fit for the play offs/end of season run.

By all accounts Kenny Jackett also sang his praises.

There were stories about him not turning up for training, which understandably pissed Warnock off. If he can show the willingness and desire he’s shown pre season, then i’d be happy to keep him.

I’m not so sure.
If we do end up with another striker as I think will happen, he’ll be decent back up.

I don't disagree.

Just think once Warnock takes a dislike your done for and I reckon we will bring in 2 forward and that will be enough alongside Medine and Ward

Yeah you’ve always said two strikers and I’ve always said one!
Prefer you to be right but I’d rather keep Bogle than Ward any day of the week.

I have to be honest I only see us bringing in 1 striker before the window closes (would like 2 mind). I think we'll get Gavin Whyte as our 3rd/4th choice winger, a Centre midfielder and a striker. And I have to say after watching a few pre-season games id rather we keep Bogle as back up as he's looked the sharpest from the games I've seen anyway. I've been a fan of Ward in the past but the games I've seen him play he's looked literally anonymous.

Warnock and Bogle admitted this happened, add this to that stupid red vs Bristol City burnt a lot of bridges. I do think he's got something though.
