There is NO way Warnock is going to let the window close with the strike force we currently have. It’s his last season, I suspect he’s a little more ambitious than usual...
Silly selling Zohore let’s be honest, all of you claiming to be chuffed he’s gone will soon find out how much he offered when we struggle with counter attacks.

He hit one good bit of form in the last 3 seasons. £8mill for a striker who hasn’t delivered for 2 seasons and only cost a few hundred grand is great business by the club. Although I do agree it will be silly selling him without a suitable replacement coming in. Hopefully we get a deal done this week.

I keep hearing this 'suitable replacement' moan. Considering how ineffectual KZ has been for 2 seasons then surely we have 3 suitable replacements already in Ward, Madine and Bogle who have all done f**k all over the same period

Regardless of what they have done, zohore was our best option as a striker. If you are going to sell that person you’ve got to bring in someone to do a better job.
Ward is never too far away from an injury, Bogles attitude has been poor for several clubs and it just doesn’t look like it will click for madine. Would you be happy to go into the season with them being our only options? Personally I’d like to see Bogle get a run of games as he’s looked pretty promising when I’ve seen him play. I still wouldn’t want to go into the season without buying a striker though.

Totally agree, Zohore has proven he can lead the line in a Warnock team which is hard in itself.
I can understand why the offer was accepted, it was a good offer and he had 1 year left on his contract but now Warnock has to show he can get better. Otherwise we simply will struggle.

I cannot agree that KZ has 'proven' himself as a line leader. He has had some short lived purple patches but mainly he has been a waste of space. As Nukes said in another thread if NW and the club hadn't accepted the £8m bid from WBA they should have been collectively driven to the nearest funny farm.

Well we got promoted with him leading the line. Over to Warnock to get better, shouldn't be difficult if he is as useless as people make out.
