Harry Arter back??

Sun Jul 28, 2019 10:53 am

Anyone else heard that Arter is coming back?

Not in the know but I have been told that twice this morning.

I can see that it could happen, we should have the budget, he loved it here, loved Warnock and might fancy a promotion push more than a relegation battle, fingers crossed ?

I have a feeling he will end up with one of the newly promoted sides, and be involved in another relegation fight. Hope I am wrong on this, would be good to see him back here for a while.

Isn't the problem he doesn't want go north (girlfriend thing) otherwise he would have sighned for a bigger club last season? But would be great for us...

Perhaps we could be in with a shout then. I think I read somwhere Fulham were sniffing around as well. I expect there will be a few after his signature as it looks likely he will need to move on for regular first team football. Probably all come down to money in the end.

If its Warnock and Dalman then it has substance

You sure you didn’t read my post from the other day ?

Bournemouth are about to sign a midfielder from Huddersfield. Can’t see Arter making their 25 man squad. Of the promoted teams, only Sheffield would suit his style of football. Can’t see his missus allowing him to move oop North.

Ha ha no just two fans like us, one does have a slight connection with the club friend of friend but not in the know!

As a rumour it sounds possible, I know Scott Parker is his brother in law but they’ve already spent a fortune and I’m not sure he’s their type of player, but he’s perfect for us, I would really hope it’s true but who knows ?

I’m not sure, did they speak to you too ???

Re: Harry Arter back

This would be good but I think it would have to be either on loan with Bournemouth supplementing his salary or buying him with a drop in his wages.

Ah found it, you were asking if he had signed for anyone? No he hasn’t, and there is a rumour he might sign for us

Re: Harry Arter back

The rumour is getting about at least, a local sports journalist is now reporting it.

Would be great if we are trying to get him back, just not sure we would be his first choice if Fulham are looking at signing him, you never know though :ayatollah:

If we could get him and a striker I think we can push comfortably for the playoffs.

Another 2 or 3 on top and have a real go.

Re: Harry Arter back

Wouldn't be surprised if that twitter user got it from here.

The longer he goes without a club the more the talk about him cing here will go

I’d take Arter over signing a new striker every single day of the week.
The difference he would make to our team in the championship is invaluable.

I can't find it now,but I'm 99% neil said in one of his interviews, he had a couple lined up,and we would be pleasantly surprised by one of them,I did post this on welsh exiles topic, well if right and Arter returns,I for one will be pleasantly surprised. :ayatollah: :old: :bluebird:

Arter was great for us in the premier League. If we had him in the championship he would be fantastic. We all know what he brings and was very popular with the us all. Fingers crossed!

I don’t think there’s too much truth in this. It’s been reported that Fulham want him on loan. As much as I’d love him back at CCS, I think Fulham are more attractive to him purely because he lives in London

Define bigger club?

He couldn’t get into Bournemouth’s 25 man squad.

It's a reference to fact that hes not gone from Bournemouth despite being for sale and was stated on here his other half wanted to stay south? Bigger club many things define bigger club ask Swansea fans on here! :laughing5:

Arter coming in leaves our midfield looking strong whilst there's work to be done in other areas.

It's everywhere now, I'm sure we are after him, but it won't be easy a good player and will require decent wages and lots of other clubs are sure to be after him!

How do you know?

Because he wrote FACT in capitals.

Everyone know it’s a fact if it’s spelt FACT!
