Get in a quality centre midfielder plus striker and we'll go up to Prem again

FFP plays a part but we have money

Agree Annis, no need to sell probably our most valuable and important asset. Etheridge is happy, settled and playing every week. We should be concentrating on strengthening starting with a proven goal scorer.

I think they already have.Heres one fan thats glad we are not lose with our finances.In all my time as a supporter(44yrs)this current management and owner is the best.

Who would have thought 3 years ago fans saying it’s the best owner the club has had - we are in a great position to go again and crack the PL and hopefully stay there for a few seasons and it’s all down to NW and VT

Agee entirely. We will never have a better chance of going up than we do now as long as we sign a quality striker and midfield player. To do that means spending some of the money we inevitably made last season. That profit plus the parachute payments over the next two years mean we are probably the best equipped side in the division to be able to spend a bit and not fall foul of the FFP rules.

I agree with the OP.
Always keep your best players if at all possible especially as we have ambitions to go straight back up.
Money should be available for what Warnock wants.

The problem is that Etheridge isn’t that settled. He has made comments about wanting to play in the Premier even as a backup in the hope he would get a chance.

So I still think if we get an offer of £8m+ take it.

Not for me, anything close to 10m he has to go. His value is at its highest might now. Ideally would sell now but it would need to be invested. I'd rather a new 10m midfielder and smithies in goals than Etheridge staying.

This day and age the club are powerless to stop players doing what they want, if he wants to go he will go!!

Spot on we have 2 other decent keepers. 10m and invest in quality mid and striker
