Slight difference is villa have sighned extra players Fulham just sighned players already on loan there with couple extra from outside.

Fulham spent £110m last summer and still didn't address a leaky Champ defence which was cruelly exposed in the PL. Villa have signed a number of players who have already played under their manager. Whether their 10 (?) signings are up to PL ability is another matter though.
