' Cardiff's transfer update '
Neil Warnock intends to bring in a new striker ahead of Cardiff City’s opening game against Wigan, with a new winger also on the shopping list.
Fans could also see a new midfielder and right-back sign on the dotted line before the transfer window closes, but they could well turn out to be loan deals.

Centre midfield, striker and right back is a MUST another winger would be the least of the priorities

Another winger is the least of priorities? How’d you work that out, we have 3 wingers to fill 2 positions lol.

Not really an update, as it’s been the same the whole window.

i honestly put RB as the least important positions we need to full. Bryam was an easy option there and hes gone to Norwich now, i wouldnt want to bring anyone in for the sake of it.
Cm and Striker first
Then another winger.

Pretty much the same positions we have needed for the last 2 years then

Warnock please go and sign Genk playmaker Ianis Hagi the son of the great George - looks an unbelievable talent

We should be ok at right back if,and I grant you it's a huge if,Richards ever get fit or Cameron Coxe is as good as some think he might be. If Tomlin turns out to be the new player he says he is,another big if,we should have enough in midfield with fairly decent cover. The main priority has to be a decent striker of the centre forward type who can play with Reid who will get goals if played in the right position. For me that will be the difference between the playoffs and the top two.

Exactly 3 players to fill 2 positions, I'm not saying we dont need another but it's not priority is it, at right back we got peltier, Richards who I doubt will be fit for a game and cameron coxe who most dont think hes up to it yet. Our midfield and strikeforce speaks for itself

Always intend on buying a player but usually doesnt happen for numerous reasons so we shall wait with bated breath for next 15 days...

Striker yet again the Biggie .
Need to invest £10-15m on striker then same on a centre mid
Keep current squad and we'll be in there or there abouts

I’d love nothing more than us to sign a striker, winger, centre mid and a right back, but it just won’t happen, it just won’t, I’ll be happy to get 2 of them to be honest even though we need all 4.

I do hope we can find a natural goalscorer, but we have struggled of late to find anyone to fit the bill.

I agree that striker is the main priority although I'm not that bothered what we spend, it's more about it being someone of proven ability to score goals at this level or someone on loan with real, high level potential/ability (e.g. Abraham for Villa last year, Milo for Fulham, etc.).
I'm not too worried at the moment as these signings often happen in the last couple of days of the window as all the other clubs finalise their business too. However, I just hope this time we have a few viable options rather than pin all our plans on one or two players.
