' £1mill a week, should he take it? '

Tue Jul 23, 2019 7:50 am

Real Madrid have made it clear they don't want Gareth Bale and he won't get game time this coming season.

Gareth Bale has been offered £1mill a week to move to China and star in the Chinese Super League.

Gareth Bale will scoop a minimum £20m welcome bonus if he becomes the Chinese Super League's most prestigious recruit (Daily Mail).

Gareth Bale's agent has branded Zinedine Zidane a "disgrace" after the Real manager said the forward was very close to leaving the club

Yes I agree.

Gareth Bale has won 4 Champions Leagues,3 UEFA Super Cups, 3 Club World Cups, Spanish Super Cup, La Liga and Copa del Rey during his time at Real Madrid. He might have ambitions of winning a PL but if I were him I would be satisfied with my career and go to China for one last massive pay day.

Depends on what he wants to do, not like he needs the cash. He’s probably got at least 2 seasons left performing at his best. So it’s whether he wants to compete at the highest level or whether he’s happy to pick up a hefty wage in a average league. I’m sure China would still welcome him in 2 seasons time. Personally I hope to see him back in the prem or at least in the champions league. Probably better for his performance in a Welsh shirt as well to be competing at the top level.

I do like the idea of him coming to Cardiff though!

'GARETH BALE WON'T BE GOING OUT ON LOAN'

SKY SPORTS

Tuesday 23rd July 2019

Speaking of Gareth Bale, if the forward is to leave Real Madrid this summer it will not be on loan, his agent Jonathan Barnett has told Sky Sports News.

“There will be no makeshift deals to get him out of the club," he said.

“Gareth is one of the best players on the planet. I can guarantee you he will not be going on loan to any club.”

With the 30-year old Welshman unlikely to agree to a significant pay cut – and any move looking likely to be a permanent one from Madrid - the list of clubs who could afford to land Bale is decreasing by the day.
Jiangsu Suning and Beijing Guoan are understood to be keen on bringing him to the Chinese Super League – but will be aware that the transfer window in China closes in just 8 days’ time.

“Gareth is a Real Madrid player and for now he’s staying as a Real Madrid player,” said Barnett.

“If something comes along that suits us, then things could change and he could be gone in a day or a week. Or he could still be a Real player in three years when his contract ends.”

Bale trained with his team-mates yesterday ahead of the game overnight tonight against Arsenal.

I've known Gareth on a personal level for many years, we text now and again, he has told me and other friends in our Whatsapp group that he has been alienated from the entire squad, he can speak part Spanish but chooses to spend his free time with his partner and family, as well as playing golf, he has been offered silly money to move to China but he is unlikely to take it as it will affect his ability to play golf

Wolfpac, is it his doing that he is alienated from the squad as he only speaks part Spanish, having been out there for so long? You compare that with Ramsey at Juve- he’s already learning Italian and has already attempted it at a press conference. Learning the language is a massive factor in the fans and players taking to you, and in helping you settle.

BALE NEEDS 'HUGE' OFFER TO LEAVE REAL

23/07/19

Gareth Bale needs wages on par with the world's top players to leave Real Madrid, a source close to the Welshman has told Sky Sports News.

The 30-year-old forward currently earns £550,000-a-week at the Bernabeu, where he has a contract until 2022.

However, a source has told Sky Sports News that it would "take something very huge and special" for Bale to be tempted away from Madrid, possibly an offer that would "come close to making him the highest-paid player in the world"

He told us a few weeks ago that his love of golf stops him socialising late into the night as he likes his bangers and mash at 18.00pm and doesn't want to eat tapas at 3am - he also enjoys riding mountain ridge ponies around the Pyrenees whilst wearing black leather cladding body armour

I'm travelling out to Madrid next month so hoping I can catch up with him, have a few pinas and chew the fat

I'd stay put to piss Zidane off :laughing6:

Pay half my contract up and I'd consider it, he's in the driving seat!

I read somewhere (doesn’t mean it’s true) that he’s worth around £90 mill.
For me, I’d take a pay cut, still earn around £200,000 a week and play for a top club with champions league football for the last 2-3 years of my career.
Sitting on your arse for 3 years at Real Madrid or playing in China would be a huge no for me. You can’t get those playing years back and they’re the best times of your life.

Nah earning a million pounds a week probably tax free would be the best times of my life.

No not if he really loves football,
He probably got 3 good years left in home, he doesn’t need the money, sign for a top club in Europe and take a pay cut.

If I was Bale,I’d go on loan for a year on full pay to a top club and see if Zidane is still at Real Madrid next season, could well be sacked? Then still two years on Madrid contract if Zidane gone?

If he's any good perhaps Baley should simply join the professional golf circuit as it would seem this sport is now his numero uno.
