Ticket office are twats

Trying to make me pay 10 quid for new card when I didn't know we using same as last year. Spoke to supervisor and they said if I haven't moved seats il have to pay 10 quid for new one. If they don't sort it for free il cancel my 4 tickets and just do away games. No loyalty to fans whatsoever

To be fair to the club they did state at the end of last season that you need to keep your card. Plus you paid for the card last year? And if you lose it during the season you have to pay for a replacement?

Why is it the clubs fault that you haven't read emails or posts on here about it?

This is the third season now that they are using the old cards and recharging them, you must be living in a cave if you did not know that

Didn't have email or letter stating that just early bird letter in which I renewed straight away.last year I just had new one sent in post. Just not happy that if u move seats u get 1 for free but if stay in same they make u pay wheres the sense in that just shows they are out there to grab every last penny out of you

When you are renewing it does tell you to use the same card or offers you the chance to purchase a new one to be fair.

No point in getting arsey with them. Tell them you'll cancel the 4 tickets if they wont replace them FOC. They would be mad to call your bluff but who knows.

I sympathise. I had a new one sent last year despite not moving seats or category. However I was aware that this might not happen this year and fortunately still have last years. However they could have publicised it a lot more. An big announcement at the last home match, notices in the ground etc. Its not rocket science is it?

It was well publicised. On every early-bird email it is there.

Some people have to find reasons to blame the club for anything. Can't expect the club to tap everyone on the shoulder and personally tell you to keep it. They did their job. If you haven't read emails or letters then it is your own fault. It's been discussed on here enough times. Even before the end of last season.

They are correct if tickets on finance you need to cancel the finance and then tickets will be voided same with all such things ! You seem to have an issue with club about something most people knew about, bite the bullet and pay just like wez? I had to pay £5 for misplaced bus pass to replace it thats life

Ok so they dont charge you then what about every one else? Why put in charge in 1st place ? Its common practice to charge for lost tickets ect, so ok just move one seat so what's the problem going that instead of bashing the staff who are only doing their jobs using the system in place.

I think the original poster is the only T--T on hear, the issue of re-issuing Season ticket cards has been well publicised on here and by the club. The people in the ticket office are normally very helpful and obliging, you are bang out of order with your comments

If I was you I would email Dalman or Ken it's the people at the top you should address this complaint at and maybe they will look at it again and not charge anyone in future after all suspect it may not be that many who lose or throw away ST especially as generally people know about procedure..

Can I just correct you. New season ticket holders DO NOT get a card for free, there is an admin charge for your season ticket which is for the card itself. My old man goes nuts about it as it's an extra cost from what is advertised.

I do find it crazy that a few people lately have said they threw their ST away at the end of the season, the club have told people for a few years now to keep their cards.

Hope you find a suitable resolution and try not to take it out on the staff in the ticket office who are only doing their job in following club policy.

Keeping your card was advertised across all correspondence, not sure what more the club could do.

It is common practice throughout businesses that's why its done same as fone numbers use to be 7p a min ect, if enough complain will get changed hopefully ...

So let me get this right as I’m a bit confused... the club openly publicised on all letters and emails that you have to keep your season ticket so that it can be reloaded for this season (this helps to keep the cost of your season ticket down as it obviously costs about a tenner to produce a new card and send it out etc)

You then lose your ticket but you want the club to pay to issue you a new card and send it out to you even though it is your own fault you threw your old card away

Even though the club has some of the lowest priced season tickets in the championship you are now threatening to cancel your season tickets yet you are prepared to now go to all the away games which will cost a huge amount more and put money into the pockets of all the other clubs in the championship yet depriving the club you support of any income
