Omar Bogle

Haven’t had chance too watch any of the preseason games but Omar Bogle has 2 in 2 now, I know the first one was a free kick against a semi pro side but the Spanish side real are in la liga aren’t they ? Was a decent header and cross as well !

How’s he been playing ?

I genuinely think warnock is going to go with Bogle again as he’s building a bit of confidence, I think he will bring in eamon bryophy (if the story has any legs) too supplement the squad and start with Bogle as our main threat. This wouldn’t be that bad if it happens, Bogle is quick strong and puts himself about, a better version of Patterson, a natural battering ram ? A lot on here saying that Bogle doesn’t score enough for the championship and that we need a new striker but why wouldn’t Bogle up front with Reid number 10 get us goals ? We got promoted without a top scorer in our team so why change it if it works ? Reid scored 20 in the championship with Bristol I know he could do it again.

Should warnock use the rest of his budget on a marquee left sided cm and a right winger ?

I hope the Pompey manager is watching him as I understand he's keen to sign him.Pre-season is no yardstick to judge a team let alone a player.I don't think the standard of the opposition was great and I think Bogle will again be found wanting the real business starts.
