My Opinion: Why then did you not perform to your best in your years at Cardiff City?
For me No excuses, you got paid enough and had enough years with Cardiff City.

That's says more about him than anything else, why have we not seen his best?
Sat Jul 20, 2019 4:30 pm
When he says nobody’s seen his best he don’t mean he wasn’t trying his best for us.
He’s saying he can still improve and his best is yet to come.
Sat Jul 20, 2019 4:31 pm
If they play another striker with him I think he'll do well. Good luck to him

Exactly, but obviously people on here will see it in a way that can help them slag him off. And I’m pretty certain we’ve signed people who’ve said exactly the same, and I’d be annoyed if a new signing didn’t say that.

My sentiments exactly Annis,he got well paid in his time here,"it's coming soon" made me

so basically he's saying thank you ccfc,I have enjoyed you getting me up to speed, now look out

has he made a statement yet, thanking the club and fans, for unwavering support, even though I never showed my best

could work for him at WBA, or could be the start of the end of his young career. The time was now to get him off the books,no tears from me I'm afraid,we move on, £8m better off
Sat Jul 20, 2019 4:58 pm
Actually Ken, I think we have seen your best already and I think our manager believes that too.
For half a season a few years ago you showed a glimpse of what we all hoped could be the start of a promising career but since then it's not really happened has it?
Seems he's trying to convince not only the Albion fans but himself that he can finally back up his potential.

I’d be worried if an incoming striker felt the need to say it...means ‘ I’ve been crap for ages, and I’m letting you know’.

I think the tail end of our promotion season was his best

For the placation of baggies fans.

Imagine signing Will Vaulks as we have, and him saying "Everyone has seen my best, I won't improve, and I won't perform well for Cardiff"
Would you respect him more?
Sat Jul 20, 2019 5:38 pm
Sorry Kenneth but we have seen your best
If you didn't perform to your best ability in the Premier Division,in front of the footballing World WHEN WE NEEDED YOU, you will never deliver anywhere
i'm sorry Ken boy, if you feel that way, you cheated yourself, the club and the fans
Sat Jul 20, 2019 6:09 pm
I think he will do really well for them.
We never played to his strengths but he did well and lead the line brilliantly our promotion season. Really hope Warnock can get someone in who can do the same again (or better ideally).
Wish him well and glad he didn't go chasing the money at Brighton when they came knocking in the prem and instead lead us to the prem.

He is pants

I wonder why we didn't see his best and how does he know he can get any better.
Good luck to him and hope they have a good physio.

if he didn't give his best then f**k him he was giving enough chances by Warnock to give his best shows he didn't want to give his best for us.
Good riddance 8 million thank you he had so many chances with us his performance last season was poor he is clearly will play well when it suits him not the type of player we want at Cardiff

But there is NO need after all these years of playing for us on a lot of money to say, nobody had seen my best yet, well out of order to us.

Annis spot on. He has failed to turn up for the past 2 seasons. I don’t wish him well sorry he cost us last year big style.

Waited a few years nothing?

Well can see this forum having meltdown if he produces for WBA! Why couldn't he do it for us? And answer as been stated many times but people prefer to totally blame him...
Ps what happened to the full story must be more than one paragraph ?

Your best simply isn’t good enough big Ken. You’re way too soft and you’ve not enough to cut the mustard.

Don't see the problem with this. him claiming nobody has seen my best yet is correct as he's been crap for 2-3 years yet we all know he's got genuine quality if you play to his strengths and keep the ball on the floor and not punt it to his head. It could go either way for him at West Brom but some people still seem to forget that goal vs Norwich away helped us gain promotion and he had some great moments here like Leeds at Home and Burton away which was crucial for us. Good luck to him I say it didn't work out here but we've just made 8m off a player who signed for 1-2m.

Hoiw long does he need then - another month ? another season ?
If he has says we havent seen the best of him yet - then I admire his optimism, but given the evidence so far - he is a complete fantasist. He very rarely turns it on, very rarely puts in a shift and maybe mentally he needs work as well.
We may not have seen the best of him but we've certainly seen the worst of him. Good luck to Ken and I hope he sorts himself out

Just what are his strength's? He certainly is not a natural goalscorer, he can't head the ball and has a weak mentality going into sulk mode when things don't go right. You say 'keep the ball on the ground' but surely that is only because he can't head the ball?

You are dead right. As anyone who knows anything about NW would know he would never sell that sort of player - hell he gave Ken plenty of chances to prove that he was that sort of player but it never materialised.
Having read the WBA forum, their fans appear to believe they are signing a big, strong target man who can hold the ball up, bully defenders and score a shit load of goals with either foot or with his head. They are totally accurate on the "big" bit and partly accurate on the "holding the ball up" bit, but that's about it. Get ready Albion fans you are about to do your own "Cornelius" with Ken who in my opinion was best described as a "Bambi on ice" when we really needed him. The only thing I will regret about Ken leaving was that it wasn't in the previous close season when we could have pulled millions from Brighton.
