Another striker gone from Cardiff

So far

Cardiff City Striker Rhys Healey Signs for MK DONS

Cardiff City Striker Kareem Harris Signs for Sheffield Wednesday

and now Kenneth Zohore has gone to Albion, but £8m :D

Zohore has passed his medical and agreed terms with Albion

Big question, how come we kept these strikers in Premier League, yet were no where good enough, yet now get rid in Championship?

Do you really think Warnock doesn't have a plan? No chance we would sell and not replace. Healey wasn't good enough, harris is a winger and Zohore was the only one who was a first team player. Which he shouldnt have been anyway.

Why is Harris being classed as a striker lately, I always thought he was a winger ?

In an ideal world I think Warnock would have signed a new striker in the Premier League during the summer window, but we had bigger priorities; central midfield and out wide. With a limited budget, I guess he was hoping Zohore would step up to the challenge.

Come January it was clear Zohore wasn't good enough and neither were any of the other alternatives, which is why he moved to bring in Sala (RIP) and Niasse.

With our lack of striker/spine recruitment this time last season I thought we wanted to go down before a ball kicked, it was unbelievable that we could survive with that team. But that work hard championship side nearly did!

Now we have some cash to push on back. Those 3 strikers no where near premier quality.

Still think we should have gone for it last season though.....

Genuinely excited for this one
Felt dread for the last one!

Agreed 100% all 3 not Premier Quality, so begs the question why did we not get rid last season?

Also I agree we should of gone for it last season more.

Zohore to be unveiled today as West Brom player - reports

Kenneth Zohore is set to be confirmed as West Brom’s latest signing later today, according to Sky Sports News.

They say he has passed his medical and agreed personal terms with the Baggies, and will be seen as a direct replacement for Salomon Rondon, who has joined Chinese side Dalian Yifang.

The Bluebirds have agreed an £8m fee for the Dane.

Always liked Harris as he always wanted to beat his man - shame he's gone but with Murphy, Reid, Hoilette, Mendez etc - we are fine.

Shame for Heeley - not had much of a chance - and he did have a chance - it didnt really happen.

Zohore - lovely fella it seems , maybe a few mental / effort issues etc - may well come back to bite us on the @rse when we play them.

As for the Andy Carroll rumours - only if it is a pay to play type contract - and we just use him for league games. Far too injury prone, a striker is worth nowt when sat on the treatment table - so we need another option. Unless he's going for Paterson / Reid aka - big man / little man combo - that may work

Healy going makes no difference at all, no where near this level.

Harris going makes little impact as he hardly featured in the last 2 years.

Zohore going obviously leaves a huge gap so we need to sign 2 strikers.

As long as the 2 ‘new’ strikers aren’t Madine & Bogle.

Same old crap falling out of your mouth as usual.

First of all Harris isn’t a striker he’s a winger so that ones put too bed straight away.

Secondly there was every chance of Zohore being able to cut it in the premier league it’s not like he’s a complete donkey he’s worth 8 million.

Finally you might not of noticed because you always seem clueless as f**k about most things that Healey was on loan for the start of last season and was only included in the squad when our new record signing striker died in a plane crash.

I think 2 new need to be in addition. If either or both leave we need to replace them as well.

As was said last week - The key man was a Midfield general and Strikers had to go before a new front man or 2 came in .

Keep the faith - More ins and outs to come ;)

Of course.
It was a tongue in cheek comment but I have the feeling if nobody comes in for either of them then Warnock will only bring in one striker and keep Madine and Bogle as the back ups.
