Whats with this Spanish connection

I see that there is some badge on the header of this forum from Annis's other Spanish team. with all due respect to Annis what the hell is that doing on the header of the CARDIFF CITY FORUM

Its mainly a Cardiff City Forum agreed

But from day one I have always stated strongly that all clubs fans are welcome on here


As to the badge on the far right, Atletico Baleares fans have made the badge and banners to show their Appreciation & Respect to well over 70 Cardiff fans visiting them last season.

So they feel there is a big connection over the last 7 years, yes thanks to me and we both are Blue & White.
They continuously ask about coming to watch Cardiff City.

On FB there are over 150 Cardiff fans now on Atletico Baleares FB.


I see no harm in our connections and its increasing, I also see no problem in putting up for a while the badge they had made and have had badges made.

For me this is only a good thing


Does it do any harm? NO

In fact Cardiff City are now talked about on the Island of Mallorca more than ever

And yes I like it and yes I watch them as well as my main team Cardiff City

Many City fans on here and FB have followed their journey over the last 7 years and have always wished them well, I put on the badge on FB and it had well over 250 likes.

This failure was a travesty, that's my reason and I have no connection or affinity with Madrid or Barcelona etc,
So why not Atletico?

Not sure who provided the wording but as far as I know there is no such word as Penya spelt in such a way.
Pena with a squiggle above the N called a "tilde" is a description of a group or gathering and used to discribe a fan club. Etc etc. For instance "la Pena flamenco" etc. The type of N is standard in the Spanish text but not ours. I'll stand corrected if I'm wrong

I take on board what everyone is saying and respect the interest being shown by city fans in the Spanish team, however there are many different threads on this board about teams and individuals on non Cardiff issues and we don't have their badges on the header. I just think its a little ironic that given all the campaigning by everyone on the change of badge which accompanied our colour change to red that we put another teams badge up there. If I am out of step with everyone else then so be it, Annis I respect your opinion but that's life

To be honest your not really out of step. Annis is a well know Cardiff fan so it's no surprise that people follow him and this Spanish team. The majority won't care less about them, but at the end of the day it's his site so can put up a Swansea badge if he wants :lol;

I had never heard of the team until Annis started to provide updates on them which I now read.
I can understand the OPs point but there's no harm in it and it can only be a good thing from what Annis has stated above.
