Good business if true.Means we could finance a deal of Assombalonga's Ilk for 3m?

In today’s market that’s a steal.

When we lose a player like this if true, I always think would I want him to play against us?

And based on his time here, I would say yes bight their hands off, but with a thought, you never know he could come good but I would take the risk.

I wonder if they need Tomlin too?

Poor bastards are trying so hard to convince themselves it's a good signing.

If true could free up wages and provide part fee for a decent goal scoring striker :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

You would hope there's a replacement in pipeline? or alternative thought is NW is altering his style play as the forwards we have cannot play in system he normally uses needs to be more like way played against Fulham..

8m? Yes great, With only 1 year left on his deal aswell, but to West Brom? Probaly our biggest promotion rivals? Doesn’t sound too much like a good idea now

I think it would be a great signing for them and how they play.

I would be concerned for us without him, by far the best we have imo.

Never thought much of him, and I appeared to be the only one on here who thought he was overrated for a long time. Personally, I have always thought we should have taken the £15m offered a couple of years back, if in fact, we were offered that sort of money for him. I think anything over £3m has to be good business for a striker who has scored 32 goals in 10 years as a pro. Probably the most frustrating player I have seen at Cardiff. Maybe a move will do him good, perhaps he can reproduce that brief bit of form he hit over a 4 or 5 month period a few years back.

I thought spending today with my mother in law was bad enough, but this is worse. He will be a big miss for us. very often unfairly criticised on here
In today's market £8 million is not a lot. WBA are one of our competitors for promotion, and it's a good but for them.I

We have aging players Bamba Morrison Hoillet etc. Who are not getting any better. Tonkin and Madin e 're hardly fit young speed merchants. I hope we do not go for another player past his prime. :ayatollah: :bluebird:

Never said he was, just adding to what has already been said on here.

We must have a replacement lined up otherwise he wouldn't have been sold.
If we haven't then we could be left wanting.

A striker who can’t head the ball. Can’t finish his dinner . Work rate is hit and miss. No heart , can’t jump .
£8 million
Is this a wind up ?
