“ They’ve had this made “

Tue Jul 16, 2019 11:45 am

Atletico Baleares Fans have had this made on their fans site and on a banner :bluescarf:

Total Respect to them :thumbright: :bluescarf:

They would love next pre-season to play Cardiff in their old stadium re-opening :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

Thats a nice badge when the " t " is put right ! Nice to have a friendship with a club abroad like this ! It would be good to take up an offer to open their new stadium for them ! Still feel sorry they didnt get promoted after the way they have performed this season !!

Why would we play them in a friendly?

We’d easily beat them it’s miles away and we have absolutely no link to whatsoever.

Nothing for us to gain at all from it.

I do enjoy reading the posts about them to be fair though.

Yeah on a tour or North America paid for by somebody else and we get to use the top training facilities in America.

Anyway it’s never going to happen no point going on about it.

I think it's great. It's good to have friendships with other clubs and especially a club that has had its hardships. It's good for football and good for both clubs to get together and become fans of each others clubs. Playing them would be a welcome fixture in my mind and thankfully it's not too far away.

Actually Warnock sends many City players over here to get fit and any injuries they are also sent over here.

I have to laugh at you saying about how far away

I think you will find our fans would turn up in massive numbers and never say never :bluescarf:

Even Borley had his second home here.

What would it do it, would give our fans a fantastic time and surely that’s what it’s all about.

As to training, amazing facilities here :bluescarf:

But your probably right under present regime no, but who knows :bluescarf:

Well said Jes, just remember how Cardiff was once and it is great to have a friendship with another club who welcomes our fans with open arms :thumbright: :bluescarf:

Jules, Warnock picks the local places and Devon etc

Also the players who have been coming over to Santa Ponsa for fitness and getting over injuries are Warnocks contacts.

As to our latest tour this was more down to Dalman.
