Well done England, but the only Welsh born play in the tournament was representing Pakistan.
We need our own team now. There is no way the cricketing infrastructure in Afghanistan is better than here.

The team historically comprises players from all the home nations, mostly English as you would expect but I have no issues with Wales, Scotland or N Ireland not being represented in the name of the team. It will always be 'my' team, something I would never in a million years say about the England football team !

Totally agree .. Wales has had a huge number of players who’ve represented England .. Simon Jones was an integral member of the famous ashes winning team in 2005 & remember feeling immensely proud ....Proud too that the ECB have used our ground for Ashes matches and one day internationals ...

Completely agree with both of you. The pinnacle of any homegrown players career would be to play for England, not Wales in the minor counties league.
