Steve Bruce, renowned by leaving clubs in the lurch, has done a bit of a dirty on Sheffield Wednesday at this point and how can he be confident that (a) he will be given time, if Mike Ahsley sells up as expected, and (b) he's going to get any more money to spend than Rafa?
The Newcastle job seems a dead rubber to me and I thought it might better suit someone in need of work rather than someone already in a decent club job

I agree It will give him a heart attack that job, why he would want that stress and hassle is beyond me

Newcastle moving from Rafa Benitez to Steve Bruce is the equivalent of shagging Michelle Keegan only to withdraw and finish off in Susan Boyle.

He’s from Newcastle and there in the Premier League of course he’s going to want to go manage them.

Probably makes sense as a manager for Newcastle with the mess they are in.
