Villa end Butland interest
Aston Villa are understood to have ended their interest in Stoke City goalkeeper Jack Butland.
Reports claim they are unwilling to meet the Potters’ price tag of £25m.
There had been suggestions earlier in the summer that Villa could turn their attention back to Cardiff City goalkeeper Neil Etheridge if they couldn’t land Butland.
But It remains to be seen if they make a move for the Philippines international in light of today’s news.
