Tyrone Mings is expected to complete his permanent move to Aston Villa today after Bournemouth agreed an initial fee of £20m that could rise to £25m. Mings spent the second half of last season on loan at Villa Park, helping them to promotion via the play-offs.

Wow that's a lot of money. Unlike Sheffield United and Norwich, Villa seem to be spending quite a lot of money which should be interesting to see if it works out. Fair play to Bournemouth for getting 20-25m for a player that 6 months ago was being loaned to the championship and hadn't shown anything since his days at Ipswich.

Mings gone Villa and Bournemouth have signed a Luton Town defender as his replacement, feel for Luton, all their main players are being headhunted by Prem and top end Champ clubs

So they doing a fulham? Signing players who were there already?

If I was a Villa fan, I’d be worried. Mings has made 30 appearances in 4 years, and wasn’t wanted at Bournemouth.

That’s a hell of a lot of money for an injury prone player

Also not going to improve the team one bit as he was there on loan last season

Really not sure about Villa don’t rate them at all, got promoted via other teams running out of steam during the vital end of season games
