' The Championship's most valuable players revealed '

Sunday 7th July 2019

Teams are preparing for the new campaign as pre-season gets underway.

A few of those clubs will be desperate to keep their star players amid interest from the Premier League.

Football website Transfermarkt value players from across the world in terms of how much they are worth.

Currently leading the charts by almost £18 million is Fulham's teenager Ryan Sessegnon, who was named as the Championship's Player of the Year during the 2017-18 campaign where the Cottagers earned promotion back to the top-flight via the play-offs.

Alfie Mawson in action for Fulham against Manchester United last season
Former Swansea City defender Alfie Mawson is joint-second on the list alongside Stoke City and England goalkeeper Jack Butland.

And Cardiff City winger Josh Murphy is also on the list, with the wide man being valued at £9m, marginally lower than the fee the Bluebirds paid to sign him from Norwich City last summer.

A number of the top 12 have already been linked with big money exits this summer.

Are these supposed to be transfer values? If so they are nonsense. The ones at the end of the list are valued at £7 million. That list excludes Mitrovic, Carney and Joe Allen to name just a few, who I am sure would attract a fee far in excess of £7 million.

To be fair you could probably make a case for 20+ players in the championship being valued higher than the bottom of that list

If bradley dack is only 7mill we should snap him up
