Etheridge on his way?

I was wondering if anyone else can substantiate a message that I was told yesterday evening.

I was told that Neil Etheridge has sold his South Wales home and given his car away to his next door neighbour.

I'd accept the former but why give his car away? Unless it's a generous gift to a good friend, then I can see no merit in it. However the person who told me is also a good friend of the neighbour.

Has anyone else heard the same information?

I don't think he'd do either of those things until it was a done deal. And at that point we'd all know about it.

I have no information one way or the other. However, it is almost mandatory that the better players of relegated teams are sold. Whilst it is not certain I would imagine that at some point NE will be sold to a PL team and good luck to him.

Villa are the only side apparently interested. Even if they weren't the only ones, why on Earth would he give his car away?

I agree on the car front. Why? Unless he was going abroad, but that's not on his agenda.

It does seem a bit random, it was something that I'd heard and just wanted to throw it out there to see if there's any substance in it.

People read into things to much. Moved house, liked his neighbour. On probably over 100k a year and buying a new car with his new house

if the rumours are true but i know he hasn't told someone i know yet who is close to him ,

He knew his car would've been stolen eventually so have it away instead

Sir Neil has denied again today that he's received any offers and since Arseton Vanilla are under investigation for financial fair play and they're the only ones interested, he'll probably stay
