Bristol City have paid a club record fee to sign Tomas Kalas on a four-year contract from Chelsea.
Sky sources understand the fee to be £8m.

I was a bit worried that they'd brought in a player who was going to strengthen them. Kalas was with them on loan last season, so really it's a case of.. "as you were". However, their kitty is now £8m lighter!

Just so they don't get too dizzy by this latest signing across the bridge, they've also announced they've signed Tommy Rowe, aged 30, on a free from Doncaster.

Hes been out on loan for past 8yrs apparently at different clubs? Such is size of Chelsea's playing staff...
