When DJ was manager our kit was always blue shirts, white shorts and white socks so he could pretend he was managing his beloved Everton!

Seems right for me, it was white shorts when I first followed us back in the days of Toshack. I expect most fans identify with whatever colour our kit was when they first started supporting the club. I always liked white shorts and white socks.

Bothroyd always had plenty of grass stains on the arse of his white shorts but it had nothing to do with making any tackles!

Have to agree,white shorts were worn at my first home game at 7,with my dad (rest his soul)in 1969. bloody scary how time flies by
