not really fair to call out loyalty on him. never played at a huge level, mainly in the 90s so probably didn’t make loads of cash. as a coach i doubt he makes more than £75k a year now which whilst may be more than most of us, isn’t really live however you want money

A jobs a job. Like most of us on here, if you are offered a job and the money is good, you are going to take it. We all have to make a living, and let's face it, football clubs are not exactly known for their loyalty to players and staff. It's the way business works, and in this game you have to make your money where and when you can. Not going make any difference to us.

Seriously, the bloke had 15 years as a proffesional footballer a good few of those whilst on the books at Man City when they were in the Premiership and was barely out of the top two divisions, he would have earned some good coin throughout his playing career then stayed in Football and went straight into coaching, he would have had plenty to set him up nicely so the providing for his family violin stuff is for the bin. He also owns a property business with John Robinson.

Sadly, he followed his bum chum Allardyce everywhere binned us off to go to West Ham, OK I can understand that, but to quit you're role with you're country to go to England, we'll the mind boggles.

Agreed and as for Margetson, he just wants to work, there was no job here or for Wales, I would imagine he is close to his home so why not?

he drinks in my local pub as it happens, moved in with a lady up the road recently,hes a right billie big bollocks cockhead, and as popular as dogshit, so hopefully hes a better goalie coach than human being

Everyone has the right to earn money and most people need to work in order to live.

So if he has been offered a better job or rather a job with more money attached to it - then good for him.

Personally I cant see the Jacks being able to pay him more than we were offering him. The Jacks seem to be in financial freefall at the moment. My mate is lifelong jack and says he has never seen it so bad - well not since the dark days when they went into administration.

So Im slightly confused as to what the jacks can offer him - that we couldnt. Unless of course he just fancies a new challenge - and he certainly is going to get that. He'll be driving the bus along with his other duties of cleaning the changing rooms and making the half time brew.
