Just watched EFL Greatest Players and Lambert was featured (Whittingham too).

Were you excited when he signed? I thought he would be decent

Honestly no mate.

Not just saying it in hindsight either was pretty vocal at the time.

His career had been on the decline in the previous few years, he had gone from prolific to a bit part playet who barely found the net.

Was he worth a punt on? Possibly, but not for me which proved right in the end.

No his day had come and gone.

Terrible signing.

Glad we haven’t made the same mistake again.
