Left Hull today, big loss for them in my opinion thought he did a decent job with them keeping them up and pushing towards the play offs last season.

BREAKING SKY SPORTS NEWS
Saturday 8th June 2019
Hull City have confirmed that head coach Nigel Adkins will leave the club.
In a statement, Adkins said: “I’d like to thank all the staff and players, and in particular Andy Crosby, my assistant, for the hard work, camaraderie, togetherness and support they have shown me and wish them all good luck with their future careers. The unity the supporters have shown with the staff and players has also been very special. The fantastic relationship I have had with the fans makes leaving extremely difficult. I will take with me very special memories from the past 18 months.”
A Hull City statement read: "The Club would like to place on record its thanks for all of the hard work and dedication Nigel and Andy have shown since joining in December 2017, steering the side to Championship safety in the first few months and then a 13th-place finish last season. We wish them both well for the future.
"The search for Nigel’s successor is already underway."

Sounds like he was not going to get any money for transfers if they are not aligned in thinking?

I thought he was dead by that post title!!

I wonder what the reason is behind it. Is he retiring? Or can Hull not provide him with the funds/resources to progress? Quite an experienced manager in this division, it will be a shame for them now that he is going.

He declined to renue his contract saying their ideals wasn't inline with his thinking? Usually means no money to buy the players he requires to go forward! Wont be out job long

Probably suggests Jarrod Bowen will be sold alongside high earners and will barely get any money to replace them. I think Hull are in big trouble now they've lost Adkins and will probably lose Bowen. They were on their way to getting relegated before Nigel Adkins came in, and fair play to him he got them playing attractive football on a very small budget and were not far from the play offs during the season when a lot of people thought they'd go down last season.

Hopefully he won't be in the running for the Swansea job

Not unless they change their minds as had 2 interviews with several candidates and decision made this week... wouldn't mind him as manager though

Good manager and would be happy to see him replace Warnock if the timing was right.

Agree.
A man who loves his football and even watched us a few times, which lead to false rumours he'd be out manager.
Did a good job at Hull. If he'd have kept Bowen and stayed then they would have been a decent shout for top six. Both (Bowen staying and top six) look unlikely now.
