No

Potentially yes, as he was class for us but I haven’t seen him play or know anything about his form or fitness so difficult to answer really.

Yes
Medel is probably the only truly world class player we have had at this club whilst in his prime for a very long time.
Camarasa comes a close second

I loved Medal when he was here but he wasn’t ‘truly world class’ and Camarasa is nowhere near being world class whatsoever.
He’s just a decent Spanish player.

I can enlighten you,as beşiktaş are my team in Turkey. He has had a fairly good season, but I don't know if he would drop down to championship

would rather tolgay arslan if he's still available, probably for half that 8m and a much better option imho.

Anybody who is good enough to captain Inter Milan and lead Chile to win the copa America has to be put in the world class bracket.
He has competed and won trophys at the top level that makes him world class.
I would say there is another level above which is the elite group of players like Messi and Ronaldo.

It depends how you define world class.
I look at Medal and class him as a really good footballer but certainly not world class.
Just opinions as there’s no right or wrong here. I was a big fan of the guy and if fit I think he’d fit right in with Warnocks team.
Won’t happen obviously.

Medel…..I think different people define and draw the line on world class in different places...
I have no idea what it means...one of the best 10 in the world, 100?, 1000 ?
or best in your position etc etc....no one ever seems to agree what a world class player is let alone who qualifies..

Every top team requires a top stopper/ water carrier or defensive midfielder. That is Gary Medel. The problem for us was he may have broken up an opposition play but didn't have top players to give the ball to.
I think it was no surprise he didn't return to the premier league, I just don't think he has the athleticism to impose himself on the premier league. I am surprised West Ham are in for him not a starter IMO.

I define a world class player as somebody who is good enough to play and start for the biggest teams in the world and play for there country.
Medel was at Inter Milan, Sevilla and captained his country.
Cant really get more world class than that. I think there is then another level above who are the Elite players like Ronaldo
