All that does is punish the fans who are not causing trouble and the team itself.

Football banning orders and travel restrictions on those responsible is the way forward coupled with hefty fines.

50k fine for anybody arrested on the grounds of football hooliganism would deter most of them.

Yeah those friendly Russians were fantastic when they attacked the hotel and had soul crew books looking for certain lads back in the euro 2004 qualifiers in moscow and when it kicked off outside the owain. Not to mention the fact the only reason it was so quiet at our game was due to the fact it was so on top for them after what they had done against England.

The Russians are friendly as f**k fair play. Hope to play them soon in Moscow so the Red Wall can go out and we can all have a big party, there will be no problems eh.
