STUIVENBERG FAVOURITE FOR SWANSEA
Sky Sports
06/06/19
Albert Stuivenberg - Ryan Giggs’ right-hand man at Wales – is one of the favourites to become the new Swansea manager.
The 48-year old Dutch coach, a former assistant to Louis van Gaal at Man United, has impressed the club’s CEO Trevor Birch, with a final decision on Graham Potter’s replacement expected within the next seven days.
Swansea’s shortlist is also understood to include Gus Poyet, Michael Appleton, John Eustace and the club’s U23s coach, Cameron Toshack, with second interviews being carried out this week.
Stuivenberg is away with the Welsh squad this week ahead of Euro 2020 qualifiers against Croatia and Hungary.

Top bloke. Hope he doesn't leave Wales job. Especially for them.

I've got a mate who's a Swansea fan and the rumour there is that Thierry Henry is also linked. Can't see it myself as I can only assume Henry is on substantial wages but it could be seen as a stepping stone to the Premiership

Latest 'link' says Mark Bowen being considered (maybe with Mark Hughes as his assistant?)

I would be happy with that, he would add nothing, I think that they will go as cheap as possible and give it to Toshack Junior as he would take it on the lowest budget.

Indeed
Was only joking about Mark Hughes; although that would be the final nail for them...!
