Team that's eluded you

For some reason I've never seen cardiff play Bradford City home or away,been whatching cardiff since 1973 but for some reason missed them.Is there a team that's eluded you ?.

we haven't played them since 2004. I dont think ive ever watched Cardiff play tranmeere

they were our first opponents at NP when we returned from the lower leagues to the 2nd tier in 2003.04..lost 0-2

I've never seen us play Newport.

They folded a couple of years before my first game.

Never been to Blackburn Rovers or oddly The Liberty. Think I've been to Crystal Palace well over 20 times. Remember always wanting to go to Coventry and was pissed off when we finally drew them in the cup but at home. Luckily it went to replay and then we seemed to be going there for about 8 years on the trot.

The only one I wanted to go to that I haven't seen is Everton.

Never been to West Ham but never fancied it really, more hassle than it was worth.

Oh and Millwall, the one time we were going to go and the coach broke down, didn't even leave Cardiff

That's weird I don't think I have either and I have been watching since the mid sixties and seen us play virtually everybody apart from the teams who have come into the League recently. I think they are one of those teams who regularly passed us the other way when we have been promoted or relegated. I remember we did play them the as possibly our first home game in the first season in the Championship but missed it cos I was on holiday. Can even remember the result I think. Got beaten 2-0.

like you for some weird reason I always wanted Coventry in the cup...went to the replay at Highfield rd and again the following season in the league after their relegation but not done the new ground...Palace is also the away ground ive done the most..

yep...its one of the home games I remember very clearly. two 25/30 yard rockets..

I think we have pretty much played everyone apart from one or two since iv been going 92. Grimsby stand out for me though, I know it's childish but I always liked their firms name Cleethorpes Beach Patrol lol. Don't ever remember playing them though unless I'm wrong, think we passed each other as we climbed the Leagues when Sam took over.

i think we played them a few times in the 80s..but my one visit there was the opening game of the Jimmy Andrews promotion season...we had been finishing 1 point or with a better goal average above the drop for a few years on the bounce eventually going down..although gutting initially there was also a sort of relief to go down at the time, a chance to turn things around and be one of the better teams not losing every week...we had signed players ,everything seemed on the up and then the season started..Grimsby 2 Cardiff 0..same old
turned out to be my favourite season...think we were as low as 17th/18th in October then signed Alston which seemed the turning point..he scored 2 on his debut against Chesterfield and the tannoy played..what a difference a day makes ...as we left the ground..was a Friday night game..its hard to believe how long ago it was.
