What has happened to him, no club last season and no testimonial game after 10 loyal years with us. Does he still live locally?

Used to be a neighbour of mine and id see him often. I had a long chat with his wife down on Penarth prom the summer he went to Blackburn.
Spotted him a few weeks back in Penarth town centre, lives in Dinas Powys now I believe.

Loyally well paid no need for testomonial unless its for charity imo
Should never of turnrd down the 1 year contract he was offered with us for the 2 year contract at blackburn
Imo
He wasnt even first choice there so he could stayed a squad player with us
Common knowledge he never really liked playing football thatsvwhy hes taken the money and dissapeared from football

Most give to charity, Mcnaughton got one and didnt put in the apperances and years Whitts did, it is just a matter of the club showing respect

Also clueless post. We offered him next to nothing in wage. Blackburn offered him almost double we did with the plan for first team. Just didn't work out for him

For Everything That Whitts Done For Us I Think If There Was Ever Going To Be A Testimony For Him, He Would Of Had It By Now. Maybe If Gunnarsson Gets One We Will See Him Again In A Bluebirds Shirt. :ayatollah: A True Legend At Cardiff Whitts

Not bitter at all
Just dont get this loyal nonsense
He was given new contracts to stay and he never wanted to move as his girl friend now his wife didnt want to move away due to her new business locally . Hence why hes back living locally
He was a multi million before moving to blackburn so didnt need the money
Funny how you just say didnt work out for him
But he was in decline football wise the 2 seasons before he left
Just my oppinion but he knew he was no longer first choice with us
And we did ok without him when he left

Typical tripe from you.

He left because he wanted to PLAY GAMES. He didn't want to leave Cardiff, hence he's moved straight back. So your "common knowledge" is a load of bullshit.

He was our longest serving players and one of the best midfield players I've seen at the club, in his peak years.

Of course the testimonial would be for charity. They all are these days. It's a ceremonial thing, to pay respects to long standing players, which in today's game is a real rarity.

Whitts is a loyal bluebird and always will be. Your hatred and disrespect toward him is a disgrace.

You are talking shit to be honest if you got offered less money to stay where you work or more money to go work somewhere else I doubt you’d stay anybody saying they would are telling porkies

Maybe he's been asked if he wants a testimonial but he's turned it down.

Do you know that didn't happen, for sure?

It does sometimes happen.

Will add that he was a long-serving respect of the whole club, including the supporters. Find it bizarre that some fans seem to have more loyalty to Craig Bellamy than to someone like Peter Whittingham.

I don't get it either...
and the fella knocking him for not signing the 1 year contract here is also the poster that slaughtered him the most when he was here.. :?

One of the best servants I've seen put on a City shirt and along with Ian Gibson and Kavs the best midfielders in my time supporting City, superb player.
