I am also a fan of good football, and although I have never particularly liked Leeds as a club, I admired their team when Revie was there, and their style of football. Cardiff are the only team I can ever support, but I can alsoappreciate good football played by other teams.

Correct, 1000s of Cardiff fans chose us over Newport and Swansea.

You think currently we have "thousands " of fans who reside in the City's of Swansea and Newport?

fans that live closer to those clubs than they do to us, yes thousands..down west places like neath, port talbot, maesteg , llanelli , all have a strong Cardiff following..as does newport itself..be interesting to know how many there are on our data base with those postcodes , think youd be surprised..

We have thousands of fans who's local Club is not Cardiff City.
I wouldn't like to put a figure on it tbh but if you said to our fan base that they should support the Club closest to them (local club) them you would be wiping out more than a few 'thousands' and I'd be one as if you go by the way the crow flies Merthyr and Newport are closer to me.

Your digging too much into it. I support my local village side when Cardiff aren't playing but I'm referring to professional clubs , there are so many Cardiffians supporting a club miles away in a city they've never even visited.
