I think Warnock will want someone mote physical and already has Reid as his number 10. Not for me.

i agree with you ok for champ but not prem, so do we sign players that are only good for the prem then this season ?

Great Championship striker and would be a far more realistic signing than Andre Gray or Dwight Gayle who have also been suggested.

But I don’t think he suits our style. Cardiff play with a big strong striker and will want those qualities in the next signing. The unfortunate thing is while these quick paced strikers are almost ten to the penny nowadays, the big strong striker seems to be being fazed out. Not many quality ones around at the moment!

I can promise you if we got a Maupay or Vydra the fans would be disappointed as they wouldn’t fit into our system at all.

I would say yes.
We have a very good championship squad of which most have proven themselves to not be quite good enough to make the next step up.
Vydra falls into that category.

When signing player this season they have to either have enough potential to make the step up (Maupay) or be proven that they can because this squad needs to move on and become a premier league squad otherwise we will be in the same position next year as we were last if we go up
