The player has not always convinced in the top flight, but Norwich are eager for striking recruits after baulking at the £7million fee demanded for Jordan Rhodes.
They aren’t the only side in the market for a striker, with Leeds United eager to boost their front line. The club only narrowly missed out on promotion automatically before falling in the playoffs against Derby County.
Now, according to Football Insider, they have identified Southampton striker Sam Gallagher as the man to fire them up. The former England Under-20 international has been told he can leave St Mary’s this summer and that Leeds are said to be keen.
And finally, it could be a case of one in one out for Leeds as Samuel Saiz draws interest from La Liga. The playmaker joined Getafe on loan last season, but the club were not impressed enough to trigger his £6million clause.
Valencia are interested, but their offer is less than half that figure according to Football Insider, with a fee of £2.5million.

loan him to cardiff? then a deal to sign him for lets say 15 million (not worth that much) after the loan. You never know he could score 15 goals and with a deal to sign him for 15 million its a shout? (if we get promoted)

Good luck finding some mug that's willing to pay 20m for him

Top quality championship player but hasn't shown any evidence that he can hack it in the prem. For 5 more you could probably sign Che Adams and Jarrod Bowen.
