They obviously want him off the wage bill, what a stupid thing to do, I hope they get away with sacking him in one way, but as they are a competitor, I hope he appeals and has to stay there wasting money

Why would you not be interested if he is available for free and on a short cheap contract or pay as you play ?
He is still a good player he just needs the right management, when he gets his head straight he Is a premier league quality player. It wasnt long ago he was touted at £30mill+

It's a shame because he has a lot of talent but is let down by a poor attitude
There is no doubting he is a quality player at championship level when his head is right, he is a lot like Ravel Morrison in many ways.

Berahino is exactly the sort of player City dont need to sign.

He got 20 goals whilst playing for West Brom in the premier league.
It was widely reported than Spurs were interested at around 30mill at the time. Also if I remember right Newcastle made a 20mill+ bid aswell. He has just led his country into there very first African cup of nations tournament. Reading reports his form for them is much different than that at Stoke.
My point is as a player he is very good when his head is in the right place. He is also better than anything we currently have in our squad. He has had a bad few years at stoke but that doesn't mean he is a poor player, he just needs the right club and manager to rediscover his form.
He would be a gamble yes but if we can get him for free on a pay as you play deal he is a no brainer for me.
