BARGAIN OF THE SEASON?
Jack Grealish has been singing the praises of his Aston Villa team-mate John McGinn after their side won their Championship play-off final. Has he been the best signing in the second tier this season?
Grealish on McGinn: "When he first came I didn’t even know who he was. But that’s why he’s got player of the season for Villa, man of the match today, scored, it just says everything about the lad. I can’t praise him enough. For £2.5m - bargain of the season. Him or (Norwich striker Teemu Pukki) – I don’t know which one!"

Pukki was definitely signing of the season but McGinn wasn't far behind. I'll be honest Villa's midfield has bags of quality with Hourihane, McGinn and Grealish.

Yes good for championship but what about premier league? If grealish can stay vertical he may be an influence around area before he goes down again as he will have field day with the type of fouls premier refs love to give .... think they will stay up just whuch is bad news for a more established team

Compared to what we went into the Premier season with, add the Villa strike force, its a bit embarrassing.

Compared to what we went into the Premier season with, add the Villa strike force, its a bit embarrassing.
Aston Villa are a massive club compared to us so no it’s not.
There probably more embarrassed about not going up instead of us with the team we had.

up through the play offs with that team and we have fans who think its going to be easy and we will skate the championship
