Mon May 27, 2019 6:20 pm

Does Anyone Know When It Is? Usually It's Mid-June Time But They Might Release Them Early. Then Put Them On Sale Ready For Pre-Season.

It's blue, that's all that matters.

Never understood why people, other than children, get so excited for a kit that won't be that different from the year before.

Another point is that we normally have the same kit to Leicester in recent years, due to both being with Adidas and both being the same colour.

Why clubs have to make fans fork out £50 for a kit every year is also a joke, they get enough money from fans.

hmm..
sort of agree...but...…...clubs have always made regular minor changes to kit even before they started to sell replicas...
and people do get excited AND buy them....which answers the why...

To add to the above points, there was a time when the FA stated clubs could have 1 new shirt a season getting 2 seasons out of a shirt, so for a few seasons it was new home, new away, new home etc in consecutive seasons, the reasoning being to save the fans money.

Its another way to keep making money for club - imagine if they kept the same home kit for 4 years, year 1 would be 20000 sales, year 2 would be 5000 sales, year 3 would be 2000 sales and year 4 would be 500 sales, easy money for the club to make

clubs used to make small changes long before there was a replica market..
so its yes and no it is finacially beneficial but they would quite possibly do it anyway..
