Oasis Singer Noel Gallagher has cheeky dig at Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock during High Flying Birds gig

Oasis legend Noel Gallagher aimed a cheeky dig at Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock during a gig at Cardiff Castle on Friday night.

Gallagher brought his High Flying Birds group to the historic Welsh venue and played to a bumper crowd, belting out classics including Holy Mountain, Beautiful World, The Importance of Being Idle and Stop Crying Your Heart Out.

But one particular song had the masses in stitches.

The band played a wonderful rendition of The Beatles' All You Need Is Love.

And Gallagher dedicated the song to "the angriest man in Wales - Neil Warnock!"

Those in attendance were quick to take to social media following Gallagher's far from subtle jibe.

Gallagher has previous when it comes to the Bluebirds.

Warnock's troops secured promotion into the promised land of the Premier League little more than a year ago.

And on the day the city was celebrating Cardiff's stunning achievement of going up from the Championship, Gallagher performed at the Motorpoint Arena.

But the 51-year-old was at his provocative best by having a sly dig at the Bluebirds during that concert.

That piece is written in a very confrontational way as well. None of the first quotes had anything to do with Fridays concert.

All he said a few days ago was the Neil Warnock statement which is very funny.

It's not until you get to the end that they clarify that the other quotes were from a year earlier.

Back then we laughed it off as we had just been promoted yet NOW we take offence.

Not really an Oasis fan, but that guy has written some very good tunes...Half the World Away, Cast No Shadow, Slide Away, plus quite a few more. I'm glad the UK has all this writing talent, and he's been a big part of it..

Well, they've sold more records than any other singer/band in the history of music, wrote all their own songs and hundreds for other singers and after being the first brits to blow america wide open paved the way for the likes of the rolling stones (and everyone since) to make it across the pond. Overated, nobody will ever achieve what they've done again.
