Good luck Newport

I've been looking at the on-line sports pages and find no mention of the League 2 play-off final tomorrow. Nothing on the BBC, and of course, according to the Mirror, there's only 6 teams in the whole country. But I'm very surprised to find no mention in Wales on Line, that's pretty disgusting but then it's not egg. This is a huge game for Newport, and although they don't really like us, I always want them to do well. So good luck Cewnty.

No rivals of ours despite what some of their fans might think. In fact I know a fair number of city fans who go watch them when we are not playing. Get yourself up to league 1 and stay their ready to play the Jacks the season after

Come on newport,you can do it had some tyres fitted last year in Newport, they took the piss,cos of my number plates,which had the bluebirds badge on but had some good banter with them,didn't detect any hatred (and my tyres were fitted correctly )

Its not the newer fans its just the fact as a club they are completely irrelevant to us. Its always been a one way rivalry as we have always had bigger fish to fry/hate

Like I said before I know alot of city fans who watch them when we are not playing. Anyway league 2 they stay maybe it will be two years then before they are in the same league as the Jacks

Agree to a certain extent, but that's the only time they have ever seriously been our rivals. Unless we fall on hard times I cant see us being in the same League as them and if we are, well another derby cant be a bad thing. So I wish them well.( They were hard done by yesterday. )

Sorry to piss on anyone’s chips but personally, I’m more than happy to see them fail. Back in the day they were horrible feckers, more than a few City have been served up by Cewnty, generally outnumbered, I might add.
Their old lot hate us as much as the jacks do.
It’s a shit place, with shit fans who I have no desire to see doing well.
Begrudgingly, the only thing they do ok is support Wales, although even then, I’ve had grief with them ( in Germany 1990) on the ferry on the way home until they realised they were well outnumbered.....(still, at least they travelled which is more than can be said about the jacks!)

Totally agree .... Feck the Cewnty ... Used to give it the come on when they had numbers when they turned up on Saturday afternoon's to a bunch of us teenagers in the mid 80's...soon running to the train station when faced with same numbers....
