Listening to talks sports Merrsyside football correspondent Graham Becroft this morning he was explaining that the best nights at Anfield are the ones under the lights in mid week and one of the reasons for this is there are less fans that travel large distances to watch the match which resulted in more of a merrsyside fan base that creates a more passionate atmosphere? I suspect some of the missing fans tonight will be in their usual seats at various pubs or living rooms across South Wales?

From the plastic Liverpool fans I know mate, none of them have been anywhere near Liverpool never mind Anfield.

And it's Barcelona so they won't have sold their season tickets on.
I know 3 Liverpool season ticket holders. Each go to probably 5 home games a season. The rest they just sell their tickets.

No issue with them at all, people enjoy football in different ways. Some like going to games, some like watching on TV, some like to support their local club and base it on geography some people judge it on a different feeling for a club.
I let people carry on as they please, as long as they enjoy it.

I have followed Liverpool ever since my boyhood hero was transferred from Cardiff to Anfield, which unfortunately probably cost us promotion to the top flight that season. Cardiff will always be number one for me, and I desperately wanted us to put one over on Liverpool this season. Ideal scenario for me would have been for us to have avoided relegation, and Liverpool to win the PL. Neither of those will happen, so I just hope that Liverpool win the European Cup and this time next year Cardiff are preparing for life in the PL again.
