My opinion: Warnock stays.

Sat May 04, 2019 10:55 pm

Today was a bad day for the club. There’s no sugaring the pill. Fans are looking for ways to rationalise this situation.

Is Warnock responsible for the results? Of course he is! That goes with the territory and he knows that.

However, he isn’t solely responsible and in my opinion he did a great job under the circumstances. He has made errors in judgement (many pointing out Reid’s omission for example). But he held the club together which is more than can be said during the last Premier League season!

People calling for Warnock to leave might as well join the “Colin” brigade. It’s so disrespectful of this highly experienced campaigner. He has balls and he has heart too.

If he goes, who is going to want the job and be suitable? I can’t think of any!

No doubt about it my favourite manager ever.

I'm not sentimental though in football so I can see a case for him to stay and go.

If I was Tan it's hard, easy decision to keep him.
Risk to replace him.

I don't think it will be as easy as people think either way.

Exactly! There aren’t many of his experience out there. Big gamble to change.

I think my issue is I don't like emotion in football but teams who go down tend to struggle. Wanrock is more of a repairer will expectation be to much!

I want to remember him as our best ever manager in my time. The championship is a hard league.

Warnock Will Want To Stay And Run Out His Contract With Cardiff, Until Cardiff Find A Replacement For Him.

your correct in what you say about relegated teams struggling..but most either have a huge clear out of their better/bigger earners or try to keep their prem squad who get a culture shock...I do think /hope that our almost unique situ of playing a year in the prem with what is pretty much a championship team will make it different..
