' NEIL WARNOCK TODAY UPDATES CARDIFF CITY FANS '
Friday 3rd May 2019
The main points
Bobby Reid been unlucky not to start more due to Victor Camarasa
Josh Murphy training better - learnt lesson that he can’t just “turn up on a Saturday”
Idea Cardiff were cautious against Fulham “rubbish”
This is the biggest weekend of the season for Cardiff City, City have to win no matter what otherwise they are relegated.
Plus Brighton must not win, if they do Cardiff are relagated anyway.
Brighton - feel sympathy if you send them down?
Neil Warnock:
“Ask me after we’ve won these two games!”
Mindset?
NEIL WARNOCK:
“We’ve got to win this game. If we don’t we can forget it, so we’ve got to concentrate on that really. Away from home they probably play the best football from home. When I was there we signed Wilfried Zaha and that was really good for the club. He’ll probably go on to a top club in the next few years. He’s the best player on the pitch on Saturday. We’ve got to hope we can cope with that and our forwards can create chances.”
NEIL WARNOCK:
Fine from FA - how are you feeling?
“I don’t think there’s any point in taking things any further. I have to take it on the chin. I was disappointed in the first two charges, I don’t think they warranted being found guilty. I can understand where they were coming from with Sharon’s comments, because you can’t condone violence towards referees.
“When you get an institution as big as the FA I find it disappointing that they have to bring in an outside barrister.
“But we live to fight another day.”
Does this stop you speaking your mind?
“Everything’s changed. The scope of things you can’t say is pretty much everything. They probably want robot managers or managers that don’t speak English. The humour’s gone from the game.”

2 wins from now would be worth £20k?
“We have to beat Palace first. We can’t look at anything else. It would be nice to go to Old Trafford needing something rather than just for a day out.”
