£14mill a year wages / Gareth Bale not in their plans

'BALE NOT IN ZIDANE'S PLANS'

02/05/19

Gareth Bale isn't in Zinedine Zidane's plans for the 2019/20 season and Real Madrid are intent on selling the Welsh star this summer, reports Marca.

However, the report suggests there is little interest from Europe's biggest clubs and few others could match his £14m-a-year wage.

On this, I'm with you. No pressure on Gareth Bale to move anywhere

Having said that, I believe he will go back to Spurs at some point (this summer or next)

£42 million over the next three years...He isn't going anywhere without a big cheque and that will be a very big cheque.

Madrid are going to have to take a big loss on Gazza. Whats the best they could get for him £50 mill ? Then maybe have to give £20 mill of that to Bale to leave

He sits on bench or in reserves for 3 yrs picking up 14m a year according to zidane? Or real sell him realistically and bale cuts his wages unless of course you have better idea? :: :|

His agent keeps insisting he is happy, and not looking to move,I guess the ball is in Gareth s court, why would he accept 20m? When he could earn 42m? By staying, unless they pay him off in full,or near to,why should he move? Although there is history between these two,so could well envisage Zidane making him train with the reserves :old: I thing he will go for around £40/50 mill if he does move, then will have to take quite a dip in pay,and sign for us :laughing5: ( he certainly don't need the money anyway) :laughing5: :bluebird:

id imagine you would accept 20 million if you are confident you can get a contract for the other 22 mill or close to it else where..i dont imagine anyone advissing him would suggest he gives up an 8 figure amount though..

Do a Ramsey, stick it out he can say he's happy in the reserves if need be, he can take the £42Million for nothing and then negotiate a new deal and keep the transfer fee for himself as wages in 3 years.

He is under contract and truly in the driving seat if they don't do something to help him move they are going to lose the transfer fee of say £70Million and pay £42Million in wages for a player they don't want!!!

think your right about him being in the driving seat at the moment. but do not see sitting it out for the 3 years as an option , he will be 1 month away from his 33 birthday when this contract runs out..how much is a 33 year old who will not have played for 3 years worth to anyone.

When does someone decide that they have enough money? Bale gets more in a week than most of us will get in ten years, and surely he's got more now than he could go through in ten lifetimes. At his age now, it should be all about going to a club he fancies and in an area where he'd like to live. I couldn't understand a player who would rather sit in the reserves than be playing first team football just to top up an already massive bank balance.
