'Liverpool fan' pushes man into fountain

A man suspected of pushing a Barcelona street seller into a fountain has been named by Liverpool FC fans.

Angry supporters have named Martin 'Marty' Mullen as the man shown in a shocking video , which shows a local being flipped into a fountain while others watch on and laugh.

Mr Mullen is understood to be a longstanding fan who has been travelling to away matches for many years.

The video, which has since gone viral, was filmed in the Plaza Reial and shows a man in a navy blue fleece running over to a local street seller and picking him up by his legs before launching him into the fountain.

There is also a second video , filmed in the same location, which shows Liverpool fans laughing as another man emerges from the fountain soaking wet and clearly distressed.

The fan from the original video can be seen laughing along with a group of fans, one of whom makes a racist remark to the man.

Meanwhile other fans can also be seen mocking the man and laughing at him in the middle of the square.

The distressing footage then shows the man, whose clothes are soaked through from the incident, checking his phone to see if it was broken when he was dumped into the water.
