How different would this season have been with VAR?

Sat Apr 27, 2019 10:23 pm

It seems that we’ve had controversy in several of our games this year, many of which were defining decisions on the outcome of the match.

Seeing Morrison manhandled again today just another example where, if VAR was in play, I think we’d see a different outcome!

Unfortunately you cannot say if outcome be different if it was from start season. But obviously if in play starting with chelsea we would clearly be better off by at least 5 points with us gaining nothing if var used against us....question is then would others be worse or better off than they are now?

if Carlsburg did VAR safe

but the majority of decisions not given were also seen clearly by match officials , so even if picked uyp by the VAR people would the ref actually change his mind ?

Yes as var revues every incident in pen area he tells ref it was a pen or not! only time ref makes a var revued decision is when he goes to screen to revue incident and makes his own mind up  my gripe is referees will now not make any decisions but let var do it for him even like you say he sees incident from 5yds away like yesterday against Morrison :old:
