Have always liked Neil the man very much, but not the manager. I just don't like his brand of football or the philosophy , and it was never more on show than today, we needed a cutting edge and ambition today, yet we see Rhys Healey and Danny Ward (who played well) ahead of HIS 19 million pace combo of Murphy and Reid. Bizarre signings and today bizarre team selection and tactics. Yes he got us to the prem ahead of target, a great achievement albeit in a poor division, but football has evolved Warnocks management has not. Personally in my time, I enjoyed the football under Eddie May and Dave Jones far more than under Malky and Warnock, irrespective of what league we were in. And enjoying my football from my team is far more important to me than predictable hoofballing our way to and from the Premier League.

Completely agree. What the fck was he thinking bringing Healey on at all, never mind ahead of Reid? Why did it take them to score for us to click into any sort of rhythm. He’s had all week to prepare them for this game and pick a lineup capable of winning it. Niasse has shown nothing since the first few games he played for us, and with Reid’s record against Fulham, why isn’t he starting!? I’ve backed Warnock all season and he’s given us more than we could’ve hoped for when he first came in, but after that display it’s hard to defend him. Sure Morrison and Hoilett should’ve scored late on, but had we set up differently it wouldn’t have taken 80 odd minutes for our first real chances to appear. And if he complains about not getting a penalty first half... god help me.

Also, we know full well he’ll describe this all as one big bonus season and act like it doesn’t really matter that we’re going down. It’d be nice if WalesOnline would do its job and ask him some difficult questions for once about his team selection and tactics, so us fans can finally get an insight into what he’s thinking.

As we know the back four and the keeper (plus replacements) is top end championship

A total rebuild of the central midfield is required and need a new striker.

If the plan was to do a Burnley, build season over season then we need a younger manager or someone close to the game plan so they can seamlessly takeover, as we can't have another Malky- Ole - Slade - Trollope - Warnock hangovers in the squad that take pay offs to get rid of players they don't suit our style.

If we go up again, we need to stop giving the ball to far better teams as much as we do.

All the people on here who think warnock does nothing wrong need to look hard at next season, because if you think we are coming straight back up with what will be left of this squad need to think again.

Yep, could be a case of the grass not always being greener. But a part of me can’t help but want a younger manager in with a more exciting style and vision for the club. Someone to build a team around the likes of Reid and Murphy. Whatever happens, a serious summer rebuild is needed.

And I don't see anything idiotic about the comments here, constructive actually. What a forum should be all about, personal opinion.

Do you seriously like the Warnock way? I am not even sure if its a brand of football at all? Inconsistent team sheets even when players are fit, expensive bench warming purchases, strange substitutions. I like him, a great motivator, but you need more than that to be a success in football these days. I would tolerate him next season I think he could get us back up again, but for me, if the club can target someone who isn't going to do what Trollope, Slade and Ole did, then I wouldn't be against a change.

Neil etheridges interview just really pee’ed me off. Saying they were trying to stay in the game... We were playing a team with the worst defensive record. Sitting back and staying in the game was not the tactics needed today. The last 10 mins showed that. We would have won if we played like that

warnock is the best man to take us back up but he has cost us at least 7 points with his tactics. today was awful subs. all season manga playing right back and Patterson playing as a lone striker has ruined any potential attacking threat we posed as a squad. reids talent has been overlooked and wards fight and hunger also has been preferred to hit and hope hoof ball.
