If / when we concede it’s going to be because Niasse is lacking quality, hold up play, and decision making. Every time we win the ball Niasse is the one who loses it every time and when we have a very promising attack he doesn’t back himself and passes the buck. Get him off. Useless.

Niasse is a strange one indeed.
For a player in one of the top leagues in the world he seems like an imposter.
Reminds me a bit of that bloke who was meant to be George Weah's cousin who played 30 odd minutes for Southampton a few seasons ago until he got rumbled.
Niasse on the other hand has played a dozen or more games now and still hasn't been rumbled
Whenever he has the ball he is concentrating so hard on controlling it with his eyes on the ball that he has absolutely no idea where any of his team mates are! He made one pass this afternoon where he thought Mendez might have been but he didn't have a f*cking clue!
Have we ever had a striker who has been less of a goal threat?
He makes Ronnie Moore look lethal and Eddie Johnson look prolific.

He seems to have got worse during the run in, he was poor after the injury at Fulham, he had no competition, Ward and Zohore were usually weaker when they played, except Saturday where Ward looked OK.
