If it was not for a few wacky ideas he would be the perfect guy , sounds a bit like Vincent Tan really.

You have to see past the person and see he us the Leader of the most powerful country in the world and our closest allie.
If your going to lead a Country you can't just ignore another.

Corbyn said he was happy to meet Trump. He just won't attend a state dinner with him (like many other party leaders).
The comments in this thread are no surprise, but how about a bit of honesty and accuracy in amongst the Corbyn bashing?

In a statement, Mr Corbyn said: "Theresa May should not be rolling out the red carpet for a state visit to honour a president who rips up vital international treaties, backs climate change denial and uses racist and misogynist rhetoric.
"Maintaining an important relationship with the United States does not require the pomp and ceremony of a state visit. It is disappointing that the prime minister has again opted to kowtow to this US administration.
"I would welcome a meeting with President Trump to discuss all matters of interest."

Quote Trumps racist rhetoric. Ironic coming from the guy who won't address anti-Semitism in his own party too.
Ripping up vital international treaties? Basically he's putting his own people and country first, exactly what I'd expect from any leader regardless the Country. Is Corbyn saying he wouldn't address any treaties that negatively impacted on the UK if leader??
